It was the second month of the summer when we moved and now we live in the most beautiful neighbourhood. We used to live in the city centre and we did not like the hustle and bustle. We decided to move because of my dad's new job. Our new block of flats is in a quiet area far from busy streets and famous landmarks.
Now my bedroom is light and big and I don't have to share it with my younger sister. It's never a mess as I tidy it up every evening. I love the bright colours of my room. We live on the 3rd floor and I always go upstairs on foot. It keeps me fit! Many of my school friends live in the same street with me, Green Street, and it's nice as we can spend more time together after school.
The park, which is near our block of flats, is as famous as the central park, and many people come here daily to relax and do outdoor activities. My grandparents are going to visit us this weekend and I think I will show them top three places in the park: the fountain, the café, and the secret path. The secret path is my favourite. It leads to the back gardens and it's a good place to play hide-and-seek.
My father likes the library in front of our block of flats. He often borrows books there. My mum is happy to have a supermarket round the corner. She can find everything there: from dairy products, which she likes most, to poultry. She usually has a shopping list not to forget anything!
