My trip to Russia

My name is Jenny and I live in England. I went to Russia on holidays last summer. It was a fantastic trip! I visited Moscow and St. Petersburg. The weather was sunny and warm.

In Moscow, I went to Red Square. It is so big! There were a lot of people in Red Square. I saw St. Basil’s Cathedral. It is the most beautiful cathedral I’ve ever seen. I also visited the Kremlin and the museums there. It was very interesting to learn about the history of Russia there.

In St. Petersburg, I went to the Hermitage Museum. This is one of the most famous museums in Russia. It is big and full of art. I liked it more than the British Museum in London! I saw a lot of beautiful paintings by famous artists. I also went on a boat trip on the Neva river and saw beautiful bridges.

I ate some delicious food in Russia. I tried borsch, red beet soup, and pelmeni. I loved the food! I also enjoyed the Russian ice cream, so delicious! I had a wonderful time in Russia.
