Task 3. You are going to give a talk about  reading books. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes (10-12 sentences).  

Remember to say:

• whether reading is popular with teenagers, and why, or why not;

• what kind of books you like reading;

• why many people prefer e-books to paper books;

• what your attitude to reading is.

You have to talk continuously.

I’m going to give a talk about  reading books.

I think that reading books isn’t very popular with teenagers these days. Teens prefer spending their free time surfing the Net and chatting with friends on social-networking sites. However, I can’t say the same about my interests. I am fond of reading. There are different kinds of books: science fiction, detective stories, war novels and so on.  I like reading adventure stories or science fiction.

Many people prefer e-books to paper books because they don’t take much space and it’s easy to carry them around. You can also store hundreds of books just in one device.

My attitude to reading is positive. I believe that everyone should read books because they help us to learn something new and relax. 

That’s all I wanted to say about reading books.
