Task 3. You are going to give a talk about travelling. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes (10-12 sentences).

• why people like travelling in Russia;

• what means of transport is the most popular for travelling in Russia, and why;

• what places in Russia you would like to visit;

• what your attitude to travelling is.

You have to talk continuously.

I’m going to give a talk about travelling.

It is true that most people like travelling in Russia a lot. It is a good chance to discover new places and meet different people who live far away. Besides, it is the best opportunity to study customs, traditions and culture of different nationalities of our country.

As for the most popular means of transport, people generally prefer to travel by plane or train. These types of transport are fast, safe and comfortable.

In Russia I would like to visit Moscow because it is a place with lots of interesting cultural sights. I am really into art, so I would like to go to the museums and art galleries there. Also, my dream is to visit Sochi, to lie on the beach, sunbathe and swim in the warm sea.

I am a big fan of travelling, so my attitude to travelling is positive. I think that travelling is a hobby that will never lose its popularity because people are curious and always want to visit unexplored places.
